Gothicrock Analytics MCP

Gothicrock Analytics MCP is a private reporting tool operated by Gothicrock for its store owner. It connects Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console to Codex to review store traffic, shopping events and search performance. It is not a customer sign-in service and is not offered for public account registration.

Information accessed and purpose

With the store owner’s Google authorization, this integration reads Google Analytics property information and reports, including traffic and ecommerce event metrics, and Google Search Console properties, search queries, page performance, sitemap status and indexed URL status. These reports support analysis and improvement of Gothicrock. Google permissions are limited to Analytics read-only and Search Console read-only access; the integration cannot change these Google services.

Processing and sharing

The MCP servers run on the store owner’s computer. Reports requested through Codex are provided to Codex/OpenAI to answer the owner’s questions, subject to the owner’s account settings and the service’s applicable terms. This integration does not sell Google user data or provide it to advertising networks. Access is for the store owner’s authorized reporting workflow.

Storage and deletion

Google authorization credentials are stored locally with restricted file access. Reports may be saved in the local workspace and in Codex task history. Local credentials and reports remain until the owner deletes them; Codex history is managed through the service’s account controls and retention settings. Revoking Google access stops future authorized access but does not automatically delete previously saved reports or task history.

Your controls

The store owner can disconnect the application from the Google Account third-party connections settings, disable the local MCP servers, and delete stored credentials and reports. Contact Gothicrock for questions or requests concerning this integration.
