How to Size a Chunky Chain Bracelet: Wrist Size, Links and Clasps

Wrist circumference and closed length are two separate numbers

Check the definition on any other design you compare. The arithmetic is obvious — a 7 in wrist and an 8 in bracelet differ by 1 in — but that difference is not a guaranteed amount of clearance or a guaranteed good fit.
